A Very Busy Sunday !!!

After breakfast we went outside to see if it was still cold; at seven o'clock there was ice on the car windows.

But the sun was warm, so we decided to work on our project in the driveway.

The minute Dennis saw a piece of wood with a hole in it he yelled, "Birdhouse!"

So we got glue, nails, a hammer and set to work.

Dennis did all the gluing and hammering and in a little while we had a birdhouse.





After the birdhouse was finished, Grampa asked if Dennis would like to give it to Ms. Conley at school. He said no.

















So for a while, Dennis rode the bicycle. He didn't want Grampa to take his picture because the bike was Pink!










Just then, a neighbor girl, Rose, who Dennis played with last week came over to invite Dennis to come to play at her house. That was such a nice thing for Rose to do that Grampa asked Dennis if he would like to give the birdhouse to Rose and he said yes. We wrote on the bottom of the house that is was made by Dennis and given to Rose in the year 2010 - maybe this birdhouse will have historical significance. Dennis had a great time playing at Rose's house because they just got a new Wii system.






When Dennis came home from Rose's house, he found Gianluca was visiting and the boys were invited to ride on Grampa's go kart.







































The last thing the boys did together was play Backgammon - Gianluca won.
After Gianluca went home it was time to prepare dinner, and Dennis helped by peeling potatoes.



















After dinner, Dennis helped Nonna with the clean up. He always takes his dishes to the sink after dinner.

After the football game was over on TV, Dennis was hungry again so he had some of the Korean noodles that Grampa bought.
